Bride IQ

Terms, made clear.

These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Bride IQ, connecting a wedding with a venue, using AI-assisted planning tools, and making subscription or venue-related payments.

Effective August 6, 2026 Last updated August 6, 2026
01

Bride IQ supports planning

Bride IQ helps organize weddings and communication, but it is not the venue, wedding planner, vendor, legal adviser, or financial adviser.

02

Venue terms still control

Venue availability, pricing, deposits, contracts, policies, refunds, and event services remain subject to the agreement between the couple and the venue.

03

You control what you share

A wedding connection requires authorization. Users are responsible for ensuring information shared through Bride IQ is accurate and permitted.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Bride IQ (“Bride IQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of Bride IQ websites, mobile applications, connected wedding workspaces, venue tools, communications, subscriptions, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, accepting a wedding connection, purchasing a subscription, requesting a venue date, or making a payment through an enabled payment feature, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

If you use Bride IQ on behalf of a venue, business, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create an account, accept a venue connection, purchase a subscription, request a booking, or make a payment through Bride IQ.

Bride IQ is not intended for children under 13. A person under 18 may use limited planning features only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts responsibility for that use.

3. Accounts and account security

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity occurring through your account.

You may not impersonate another person, create an account using information you are not authorized to use, share credentials in a way that creates a security risk, or access another user’s account without permission.

Notify us promptly at support@brideiq.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. The Bride IQ service

Bride IQ provides tools that may include wedding dashboards, checklists, timelines, countdowns, messages, packages, room guides, documents, planning notes, reminders, venue readiness tools, booking requests, payment tracking, and AI-assisted guidance.

Features may vary by account type, subscription status, device, venue participation, location, and stage of rollout. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, subject to applicable law.

5. Wedding and venue connections

A bride, couple, or authorized participant may invite a venue to connect with a wedding. A venue may also invite a couple. A connection becomes active only after the appropriate invitation or request is accepted.

A connected wedding workspace may allow participants to exchange messages, documents, timelines, package information, guest counts, room details, payment status, vendor access information, and other authorized wedding details.

Users must not connect themselves to a wedding or venue without authorization. Bride IQ may require account verification, business verification, invitation tokens, email confirmation, or additional evidence before activating or maintaining a connection.

Private and shared information

Bride IQ may provide controls identifying content as private or shared. You are responsible for reviewing those controls before submitting or sharing content. Once information is shared with another authorized user, that user may retain it as permitted by law, contract, or legitimate recordkeeping needs.

Disconnecting a venue

A bride or authorized wedding owner may request to disconnect a venue. Disconnection may stop future access but may not delete records that must be retained for contracts, payments, refunds, disputes, security, tax, accounting, or legal compliance.

6. Venue and business responsibilities

Venues and business users are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their availability, pricing, packages, policies, media, room details, capacity information, contract terms, staff access, and communications.

A venue must have all licenses, permits, insurance, rights, authorizations, and operational capability required to offer and perform its services. Bride IQ does not verify every venue representation and does not guarantee venue quality, safety, availability, or performance.

Venue users must promptly correct inaccurate information and must not misrepresent availability, pricing, deposits, package inclusions, refund rights, or services.

7. Bride and couple responsibilities

Brides, couples, and authorized wedding participants are responsible for the accuracy of the information they submit, including names, dates, guest counts, vendor details, payment information, timelines, and requested services.

Bride IQ is an organizational tool. Users remain responsible for reviewing contracts, confirming due dates, verifying venue instructions, meeting payment obligations, and making final wedding decisions.

8. User content and permissions

“User Content” includes messages, photos, videos, audio, documents, contracts, floor plans, package details, policies, notes, logos, trademarks, and other material submitted to the Services.

You retain ownership of User Content you own. By submitting User Content, you grant Bride IQ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, transmit, format, and use that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Services.

You represent that you own or have permission to use and share all User Content you submit and that doing so does not violate privacy, intellectual-property, publicity, contractual, or other rights.

We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, creates risk, infringes rights, or is unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful.

9. AI-assisted features

Bride IQ may use artificial intelligence to summarize information, answer questions, identify missing details, draft communications, suggest next steps, organize wedding activity, or provide planning and venue-coordination guidance.

AI-generated output may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. It is not legal, financial, medical, safety, weather, contractual, or professional advice. You must independently verify important information with the applicable venue, vendor, professional, or official source.

Bride IQ does not guarantee that AI recommendations will prevent mistakes, delays, losses, disputes, weather impacts, vendor issues, or event disruptions.

10. Bride IQ Pro subscriptions

Bride IQ may offer auto-renewable monthly or yearly digital subscriptions through Apple’s App Store. Available features, pricing, billing period, and trial terms, if any, are displayed before purchase.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed. A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Renewal may be charged within 24 hours before the current period ends.

You may manage or cancel an Apple subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the Bride IQ app or your Bride IQ account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

Subscription purchases, billing, refunds, and eligibility are also subject to Apple’s terms, policies, and billing rules. Except where required by law, Bride IQ cannot directly issue refunds for purchases processed by Apple.

Restore Purchases may be used to restore eligible Apple subscription entitlements associated with the same Apple Account.

11. Apple application license

The Bride IQ iOS application is licensed, not sold. Unless Bride IQ provides a separate custom end-user license agreement, use of the iOS application is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Apple is not responsible for Bride IQ support, maintenance, warranties, claims, or content except as required by Apple’s own terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the applicable application license and may enforce it.

12. Venue requests, bookings, deposits, and payments

Bride IQ may allow users to request a wedding date, receive a venue response or proposal, review package information, pay a deposit, make installments, receive receipts, or track payment status.

Venue-related payments are for real-world services provided by independent venues or vendors. They are separate from Bride IQ digital subscriptions.

No booking until confirmed

A request does not guarantee availability or create a confirmed reservation. A wedding date is confirmed only when the venue expressly accepts the booking and all stated conditions for confirmation, which may include signing an agreement and successfully paying a required deposit.

Venue agreement controls

The agreement between the couple and the venue controls the venue services, price, package, deposit, balance, due dates, cancellation rights, rescheduling terms, refunds, damages, service obligations, and event rules. Bride IQ is not a party to that agreement unless expressly stated in writing.

Payment processing

When enabled, venue payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider. You authorize the payment provider and Bride IQ to process transaction information necessary to complete payments, transfers, refunds, receipts, fraud review, and related support.

Payment-provider terms and privacy notices also apply. A payment may be delayed, declined, reversed, held, or canceled for fraud prevention, verification, legal, network, banking, or provider-related reasons.

Platform or processing fees

Bride IQ may charge a disclosed platform, booking, service, or processing fee where permitted. Any applicable fee will be shown before payment. Venues may also be responsible for payment-provider fees, refunds, disputes, or chargebacks according to their agreement with Bride IQ and the payment provider.

Refunds, cancellations, and disputes

Venue refunds and cancellation rights are governed primarily by the venue agreement and applicable law. Bride IQ may assist with transaction records and communication but does not guarantee a refund. Users should contact the venue first regarding venue-service disputes.

Unauthorized chargebacks, false disputes, or payment abuse may result in account restriction, collection activity, or legal action.

13. Communications and invitations

By using the Services, you consent to receive transactional emails, texts, push notifications, and in-app messages related to accounts, invitations, wedding activity, subscriptions, payments, support, and security.

Users sending invitations must have permission to contact the recipient and must not use Bride IQ for spam, harassment, unsolicited marketing, or unlawful messaging.

14. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or harmful activity.
  • Impersonate a bride, venue, employee, vendor, or other person.
  • Access a wedding or venue workspace without authorization.
  • Upload malware, harmful code, or content intended to disrupt the Services.
  • Scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or systematically extract data except as permitted by law.
  • Bypass security, access controls, payment requirements, or subscription restrictions.
  • Use automated systems to create accounts, send spam, or overload the Services.
  • Infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights.
  • Use Bride IQ to facilitate discrimination, threats, harassment, or illegal services.
  • Misrepresent pricing, availability, package inclusions, or booking status.

15. Intellectual property

Bride IQ and its licensors own the Services, software, visual design, trademarks, logos, text, graphics, workflows, databases, and other materials, excluding User Content.

Subject to these Terms, Bride IQ grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for their intended purpose.

You may not copy, sell, license, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit Bride IQ intellectual property without written permission.

16. Third-party services

The Services may depend on or link to third-party platforms, including Apple, Shopify, Stripe, maps, communications providers, analytics services, cloud providers, AI providers, venues, and vendors.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. Bride IQ is not responsible for third-party availability, accuracy, security, acts, omissions, products, services, or policies.

17. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Bride IQ at any time. You may request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk, failed to pay amounts due, engaged in fraud or abuse, infringed rights, or used the Services unlawfully.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, dispute terms, and record-retention rights—will survive.

18. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” BRIDE IQ DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT.

BRIDE IQ DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS; THAT DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST; THAT A VENUE OR VENDOR WILL RESPOND OR PERFORM; THAT A DATE WILL BE AVAILABLE; OR THAT AI OUTPUT, WEATHER INFORMATION, PRICING, PACKAGES, TIMELINES, OR OTHER INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

BRIDE IQ IS A TECHNOLOGY AND COORDINATION PLATFORM. IT IS NOT A WEDDING VENUE, WEDDING PLANNER, EVENT PROFESSIONAL, ESCROW SERVICE, INSURER, BANK, LAW FIRM, OR FINANCIAL ADVISER.

19. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BRIDE IQ AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITY; WEDDING DELAYS OR CANCELLATIONS; VENUE OR VENDOR FAILURES; OR COSTS OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BRIDE IQ’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DIRECTLY TO BRIDE IQ FOR DIGITAL SERVICES DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or liability limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

20. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bride IQ and its affiliates, owners, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your use of the Services, User Content, violation of these Terms, infringement of rights, unauthorized wedding or venue access, or venue or business activities.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact support@brideiq.com and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve the dispute informally.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, courts located in Mississippi will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Services.

22. Changes to the Services or Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, security, payment, or operational changes. We will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice for material changes.

Continued use of the Services after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where additional consent is required by law.

23. General provisions

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, applicable purchase disclosures, and any additional written agreement between you and Bride IQ form the entire agreement regarding the Services.

If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the business.
